PS. One thing you may notice is that we use Australian English spelling. So we're sorry if you are from another part of the world where words like colour and organisation look strange to you, but we hope you can still understand us, despite the different spelling.
Probably more than anything else, a crisis uncovers leadership. In a department, a company or a community; in an organisation, a sports team or in a family: when a crisis occurs, it's not management which shows people the way through the situation and how to move forward, it's leadership.
While good management is essential in all sorts of organisations, we are beginning to realise it is insufficient. A well managed organisation without a good leader is unable to respond to the unexpected, be it an opportunity or a threat.
Leaders are needed at all levels in all organisations to build effective teams and inspire excellence.
What are you doing to develop the leadership you need in your organisation, in a real and meaningful way?
If you want to encourage leadership generally in your organisation, call 03-9859 3924 to ask about KMG Consulting's innovative leadership development programs, including Mentor Magic™. More details>>
